Our President & CEO, Mr. Fahad Abunayyan, attended the final of the La Martina Queen Elizabeth Centenary Trophy at the Royal Guards Polo Club in Windsor, one of the most prestigious events on the international polo calendar. During the event, Mr. Fahad was honored to present the awards to the tournament champions alongside distinguished guests and polo leaders.
Mr. Fahad joined his host, Adrian Simonetti, owner of La Martina, and enjoyed an outstanding day of world-class polo at Smith’s Lawn, Windsor Great Park. The event brought together distinguished guests, international polo enthusiasts, and elite players, celebrating the rich heritage and traditions of British polo.
The highly anticipated final, played before an elegant audience gathered in the Royal Box and surrounding terraces, showcased exceptional horsemanship, skill, and sportsmanship. Mr. Fahad also had the opportunity to watch the match alongside the Chairman and CEO of the Guards Polo Club, further strengthening relationships within the international polo community.
Dontancredipolo claimed the 2026 Queen Elizabeth Centenary Trophy with an impressive 9–6 victory over Amanara Polo Team, lifting the trophy on The Queen’s Ground. The Most Valuable Player (MVP) award was presented to Hazel Jackson, while the La Martina Best Playing Pony award was presented to Pan Casero Porteña, played by Teodoro Lacau. Earlier in the day, La Hechicera secured victory in the Sub Final with a 6–5 win over Tempest on The Duke’s Ground.
