Our President & CEO, Mr. Fahad Abunayyan, accompanied His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz on an official visit to Turkey, where His Highness was honored with the Global Humanity Award during a high-level ceremony held in Istanbul.
The award was presented in recognition of His Royal Highness’s outstanding leadership, distinguished humanitarian contributions, and unwavering commitment to serving humanity—particularly through his support for refugees and leadership in humanitarian and relief initiatives that reflect the highest values of generosity, responsibility, and compassion.
Mr. Fahad has accompanied His Royal Highness for nearly two decades, witnessing firsthand his global humanitarian initiatives, even prior to his appointment as Governor of the Aseer Region. The award reflects a long-standing legacy of compassion and solidarity that has defined His Royal Highness’s humanitarian efforts across various regions of the world.
The recognition also highlights Prince Turki bin Talal’s pioneering role in advancing comprehensive development initiatives, particularly his transformative vision for the Aseer Region. Under his leadership, Aseer has emerged as a model for balanced economic growth, cultural revitalization, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment—fully aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
The ceremony was attended by senior Turkish officials, international dignitaries, business leaders, and representatives of cultural and development institutions, underscoring the strength of Saudi-Turkish relations and the growing international appreciation for the Kingdom’s reform agenda.
This international recognition further reinforces Prince Turki bin Talal’s global standing as a forward-thinking leader and highlights the expanding role of Saudi leadership on the international stage.
During the visit, Mr. Fahad also met with distinguished guests and long-standing partners, including His Highness Prince Sultan bin Turki Al Saud, His Highness Prince Khalid bin Bader Al Saud, Mr. Modar Hisham Nazer, Turkish businessman Mr. Fatih Tamince, as well as senior Turkish historians and cultural leaders.
