Our President & CEO Fahad Abunayyan attended the National Water Company (NWC) Bi-Annual Workshop 2025, held at the conference facilities of the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh.
The workshop was a highly productive engagement, bringing together national leadership teams and senior representatives from NWC across its six national clusters. The event featured opening remarks delivered by Hill International’s MENA leadership alongside NWC’s Executive Vice President and Vice Presidents, highlighting the importance of collaboration and alignment across the program.
During the workshop, Hill International presented the performance of each cluster, covering projects under delivery and key performance indicators, including improvement trends in delayed, troubled, and suspended projects. Success stories and value-added initiatives were also showcased, demonstrating progress in strengthening PMO capabilities and improving overall project delivery performance.
From a Head Office perspective, Hill International presented alongside the NWC General Manager, addressing key workstreams designed to strengthen governance, including risk management, knowledge transfer, and organizational development. The session also highlighted critical focus areas required to drive continued improvement and long-term success.
The workshop also highlighted the achievement of Hill International’s Western Cluster team, which supported NWC in securing MEED Award regional recognition for a flagship water storage project, reflecting excellence in project delivery.
