The 2025 Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT) Finals<\/strong> concluded successfully in Riyadh<\/strong>, delivering a thrilling finale to a landmark season of elite international show-jumping.<\/p>

Held from 30 October to 1 November 2025<\/strong>, the Finals brought together more than 50 of the world\u2019s top riders<\/strong>, representing nearly 20 nations<\/strong>, to compete for the highest honors of the LGCT season. The event featured a total prize purse exceeding \u20ac10.5 million<\/strong>, spanning the LGCT Championship<\/strong>, GCL Championship<\/strong>, and the Riyadh Grand Prix<\/strong> classes.<\/p>

The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished senior guests, including His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal<\/strong>, who was welcomed by His Highness Prince Abdullah bin Fahad<\/strong>, Chairman of the Saudi Equestrian Federation<\/strong>, and joined by Their Serene Highnesses Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein<\/strong> and Prince S\u00e9bastien of Luxembourg<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Individual Championship witnessed a historic achievement, as Gilles Thomas (Belgium)<\/strong> became the youngest-ever LGCT Champion<\/strong>, concluding a remarkable season with outstanding performances in Riyadh. The final standings were:<\/p>

  1. Gilles Thomas (BEL)<\/strong> \u2013 287 points<\/li>
  2. Harrie Smolders (NED)<\/strong> \u2013 246 points<\/li>
  3. Andreas Schou (DEN)<\/strong> \u2013 221 points<\/li><\/ol>

    Our President & CEO, Mr. Fahad Abunayyan<\/strong>, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the Saudi Equestrian Federation<\/strong>, attended the Finals and noted that the successful staging of the event reflects the Federation\u2019s continued commitment to advancing equestrian sport in the Kingdom and strengthening Saudi Arabia\u2019s position on the global equestrian calendar.<\/p>

    The Saudi Equestrian Federation<\/strong> expressed pride in overseeing the delivery of this prestigious international event and in witnessing its continued growth and success year after year, reinforcing Riyadh\u2019s status as a leading destination for world-class equestrian sport.<\/p>
