The Saudi Cup 2026 concluded in spectacular fashion at the King Abdulaziz Racecourse in Riyadh, with Japanese thoroughbred Forever Young making history by securing a second consecutive victory in the world’s richest horse race, which carries a prize of $20 million.
Our President & CEO, Mr. Fahad Abunayyan, attended the prestigious event in his capacity as Vice Chairman of the Saudi Equestrian & Polo Federation, alongside fellow board members Musaad AlSudairy, Esra Albuti, Nayfa Al-Brahim, and the Secretary General of the Saudi Equestrian Commission, Abdullah Al-Asiri.
During the event, Mr. Fahad also had the pleasure of meeting renowned British equestrian Zara Tindall, granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, as well as Alexander Zilo and Tauseef Qadri, founder of Cavago.
Mr. Fahad expressed his appreciation to the organizers and the Jockey Club of Saudi Arabia for their outstanding efforts in delivering a world-class event that continues to elevate the Kingdom’s position on the global equestrian stage.
