Hill International Saudi Arabia proudly reaffirmed its role as a key partner overseeing one of the world’s largest railway developments — the Saudi Landbridge Project — during Saudi International Rail 2025, held on 19–20 October at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center.
Our President & CEO, Mr. Fahad Abunayyan attended the event alongside Hill International’s regional leadership, including James Duncan, First Vice President for the MENA Region, and the senior Saudi Landbridge project team.
At Hill International’s Pavilion, Mr. Fahad welcomed Dr. Bashar bin Khalid Al Malik, CEO of the Saudi Railway Company (SAR), accompanied by senior members of SAR’s executive leadership, including Badr B. Al-Foghom, Senior Vice President – Landbridge & Mega Projects, and Rakan F. Al-Anazi. The visit reflected the strong collaboration between Hill International and SAR in advancing this nationally significant infrastructure program.
The Saudi Landbridge is being delivered by a consortium comprising Hill International, Italferr (Italy), and Sener (Spain), in partnership with SAR. Drawing on extensive global experience in complex transportation and infrastructure programs, Hill International provides comprehensive project and program management (PMC) services to ensure delivery in line with international standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Hill’s scope includes schedule control, cost management, risk mitigation, interface coordination, and performance monitoring across all project phases. Through its leadership and expertise, Hill International supports SAR in achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to the development of a world-class, sustainable rail network connecting the Kingdom’s Red Sea and Arabian Gulf coasts and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub.
Saudi International Rail 2025, the region’s largest rail industry gathering, brought together more than 250 global exhibitors and over 200 senior leaders and experts, showcasing innovation across digital rail, high-speed systems, integrated logistics, freight and port connectivity, and sustainable infrastructure aligned with the Kingdom’s transformation agenda.
