In June 2023 we concluded three fabulous days of Chestertons Polo in the Park 2023 which launched in the UK Summer Season in front of sell-out crowds in Hurlingham Park: Celebrating unforgettable moments in the heart of London and Our President & CEO Mr. Fahad Abunayyan was honoured to host members of The Saudi Royal Family & Friends & Business partners from the US and Europe & among them was the glamours princess Nina of the principate of Seborga.
Chestertons Polo in the Park 2023 will go down in the event’s history as its greatest year on record. Welcoming its highest attendance since 2016, the event brought its elegant blend of world-class polo, hospitality, food, music, shopping, gardens to the heart of London, and confirmed its status as a must-attend event on the summer social calendar and soon will host its first ever event in Riyadh Saudi Arabia.
The UK’s largest polo tournament takes place at the spiritual home of Polo, Hurlingham Park, where the rules of polo were written in 1875.
Sellout crowd witnessed the battle for the historic Olympic Trophy. The International Match between England and Ireland left spectators breathless, as these two titans of international polo clashed in a gladiatorial display of guts, skill and precision. Lead by their captain, Nina Clarkin (playing in the men’s team), England emerged triumphant and secured the Olympic Trophy with a 7-6 victory.
Throughout three days the polo tournament, that was played between global cities, captivated crowds with their own exhibition of skill, fierce competition, and close up action. The grand finale between ICM.com Team Dubai and Argentex Team Sydney was a true spectacle, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats until, in the last moments of play, ICM.com Team Dubai secured their 8-5 victory and crowned themselves Chestertons Polo in the Park 2023 victors including one of our Saudi Polo player Noor Abukhadra.
