The LIV Golf Riyadh tournament was held in February 2026 at the Riyadh Golf Club in Riyadh, marking another milestone in the evolution of global professional golf and reinforcing Saudi Arabia as a premier destination for world-class international sporting events.
Our President & CEO, Mr. Fahad Abunayyan, attended the event and reflected on the remarkable growth of LIV Golf since first attending the inaugural tournament in United Kingdom in 2022 alongside Yasir Al-Rumayyan. During the event, Mr. Fahad also met with several friends and industry leaders, including Noah Alireza, CEO of Golf Saudi, as well as Rifaat Sheikh El Ard, Peter Smith, Rory Heron, and Todd Albert Nims.
The tournament concluded with Australian golfer Elvis Smylie claiming the individual title with an impressive score of 24-under-par, finishing just ahead of Spain’s Jon Rahm. Organized by Performance54 in collaboration with Golf Saudi, the event brought together elite international players, global audiences, and distinguished guests, further highlighting Riyadh’s growing stature on the world sporting stage.
